It’s no surprise that “Madagascar 3” and “Prometheus” won big this weekend.Combined, Dreamworks’ heavily advertised kid flick and Ridley Scott’s much-anticipated summer blockbuster earned more than $110 million at the box office this weekend, squashing the competition.

Other than a steady cash flow from the top five, much stays stagnant at the box office with a few big dips with the ever-sinking “Battleship” and “The Dictator.” Otherwise, “Moonrise Kingdom” gets a bump from an added 80 theatre count.

Out of the top 10 this week include “For Greater Glory,” horror film, “Chernobyl Diaries” and Johnny Depp‘s “Dark Shadows” after a four-week run.

Though out of the top 10 for two weeks, “The Hunger Games” will cross the $400 million mark domestically today.
