Louisville plays West Virginia in Morgantown this weekend, but the team will be travelling without its cheerleaders and dance team, according to the Card Chronicle.

Louisville decided to not bring the cheerleaders and dancers because of safety concerns. West Virginia fans are known for getting a little rowdy, and Morgantown is known for being a harsh environment to play in.

And Louisville cheerleaders said they have had bottles thrown at them on the field.

There are also rumours the majority of the administrative staff won’t travel with the team either.
