London Mayor Boris Johnson got stuck halfway down a zip line as he attempted to enter an event at Victoria Park today. John, the first person to use the zip line, was heard shouting “Get me a rope, get me a ladder” and “I think the brakes got stuck,” according to ITV News.
He was pulled the rest of the way by a team on the ground at the east London park where visitors watch the Games on a big screen and play games based on Olympic sports.
Johnson is widely considered the top choice to succeed David Cameron as prime minister, as suggested by a poll of Conservative voters this week.
