Limbaugh’s trying a new angle on defending himself for calling Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and “prostitute.”
He’s arguing that it’s unfair to attack him when rappers “say anything they want.”
“You talk about the double standard,” Limbaugh wrote on his blog. “One of the greatest illustrations of it is that rappers can practically say anything they want about women, and it’s called art.”
Limbaugh then turned his sights on Democrats and the media.
“It’s the Democrats and the media that use the power of intimidation to get people to cave on their own morality, to give it up. All for the sake of avoiding confrontation or opposition.”
Since making his statements last week, Limbaugh has taken some serious heat. Several prominent advertisers have pulled their support, and Twitter was abuzz with reactions from politicians and the public alike.
