LEAKED: Twitter Is About To Release A Major Update To Its iPhone App

It looks like Twitter is about to release a major update to its iPhone app.

9to5mac found the leaked release notes for the next version of Twitter for iPhone in the redesigned App Store on iOS 6.

The new Twitter app will feature a series of big changes including the ability to receive push notifications from specific users, the option to see personalised trends, autocompleted suggestions when searching for other users and of course, adding the new Twitter logo.

One particularly promising feature is that the app promises to offer a “special experience around selected events” by curating the best Tweets and photos from related accounts.

Here’s a screenshot 9to5mac took of part of the update list for the new Twitter app. Head over to 9to5mac to see more pictures.
