We always thought her look skewed a little more KISS, but Lady Gaga is being floated as the new lead singer of Queen.
Brian May let slip that Gaga and the band have hashed out the concept.
For the record, do we think this will happen? Nope.
Gaga’s two-foot shoe antics may feel a little tired of late, but she’s still got a rabid fan base and no apparent desire to share the spotlight.
For Queen, on the other hand, the advantages of bringing her on are obvious.
Give this idea some time to percolate — specifically, give it until whenever Gaga’s fourth album drops.
Since her third came out in May, it likely won’t be for another year or so.
But if she sees a waning in record sales then, it could be time for, at the very least, a limited-engagement tour with Queen that teases the musical possibilities.
And that, you know, employs upwards of 300 costume designers with insane imaginations. Such a tour would be awfully good for unemployment.
