70% Of British Men Are Related To Tutankhamen

Geneticists in Switzerland have concluded that half of European men and up to 70% of Brits are related to the Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamen, reports Reuters.The young boy Pharaoh was a member of genetic profile group, known as haplogroup R1b1a2, which half of European men are members of.

R1b1a2-lineage is believed to have originated about 9,500 years ago in the Black Sea region, International Business Times reports, and later migrated to Europe.
