Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries earned a reported $17.9 million for their August wedding in Montecito, which was later televised in a two-part special called “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding” on E! Entertainment.
But just 72 days later, on October 31, the fairytale was over and the estranged couple were left with $100,000 in wedding gifts.
And now, four months later, Kardashian is finally doing something about all of the wedding swag she received for her big day.
TMZ obtained this note Kardashian sent to wedding guests who had given the TV star gifts.
“I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift. It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation.”
But that’s not all, Kardashian doubled the $100,000 amount TMZ says she received in gifts and just donated $200,000 to The Dream Foundation, an organisation that “enhances the quality of life for individuals and their families who are battling life-threatening illness.”
