This Video Is Leading To Speculation Kim Jong-un's Wife Has Given Birth To His Heir

Kim Jong-un’s wife, Ri Sol Ju, is speculated to have given birth to the North Korean leader’s son — largely due to a video of the couple attending the country’s New Years celebrations.

As the AP notes, previous videos have shown Ri wearing a “billowing black dress that covered what appeared to be a swollen belly”, leading to widespread speculation she was pregnant.

However, the new video, included above, shows Ri looking noticeably slimmer and wearing a much tighter dress.

The Telegraph also reports that the New Years performance included the song “When A Child is Born”.

Ri has been largely out of the public eye in recent months, leading to widespread rumours about her fate.

According to South Korean agency Yonhap News, government sources believe Ri may have given birth shortly after a reception on December 21st to celebrate North Korea’s successful rocket launch. However, one intelligence source told the paper that there was little evidence to speculate at present.
