Khloe Kardashian denied that she's in talks to be the next Bachelorette: 'Stop or you will be hearing from my lawyers'

  • There have recently been reports that Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloe Kardashian with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, model Jordyn Woods.
  • Following those reports, “Bachelor” franchise creator Mike Fleiss tweeted that he’d been in contact with Kardashian mumager Kris Jenner about casting Khloe on “The Bachelorette.”
  • Kim Kardashian denied that Khloe and Kris Jenner were talking to Fleiss about becoming the next Bachelorette.
  • Khloe called Fleiss “insensitive” and told him to stop talking about the matter or he’d be hearing from her lawyers.

“The Bachelorette” is known for being dramatic, but the drama left the screen and entered the real world when reports started to spread that Khloe Kardashian was talking to show creators about becoming the next Bachelorette. The situation has since escalated into heated Twitter exchanges over the weekend between the “Bachelor” franchise creator and several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Last week, reports broke that Tristan Thompson had cheated on Khloe with Jordyn Woods, a model who is also a close friend of Khloe’s sister, Kylie Jenner. The Kardashian-Jenners have not made an official statement on the matter, but amid the cheating reports, some people began suggesting that Khloe be the next Bachelorette so she can find love again.

Soon, “Bachelor” franchise creator Mike Fleiss took to Twitter to comment on the idea – and his tweet made it sound like he’d be open to it. “Any decision regarding @khloekardashian as the new #TheBachelorette will need to be approved by my dear friend @KrisJenner,” he wrote.

In the past, Jenner has spoken in the past about her love of the “Bachelor” franchise and her close relationship with Fleiss. She told E! News in 2015, “I love the franchise and Mike [Fleiss] is a good friend and I love what he has done with the shows.”

Soon ‘Bachelor’ franchise host Chris Harrison entered the conversation

“Hey #BachelorNation should we discuss this?” Harrison tweeted, referencing a tweet about Khloe potentially becoming the next Bachelorette.

Over the next few days, Fleiss and Harrison continued posting on social media about the matter. In a tweet, Harrison seemingly joked that Fleiss had been holed up binge-watching “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

Fleiss then tweeted that he’d ‘

already been in contact’

with Kardashian mumager Kris Jenner about casting Khloe as the next Bachelorette

Khloe’s sister Kim Kardashian quickly denied this. “Fake f——- news big time!!!!” Kim wrote in response to Fleiss’s tweet.

Fleiss then tweeted that all “Bachelorette” contestants are sworn to secrecy before filming begins, so Khloe “couldn’t tell” Kim even if she was the next Bachelorette.

“How would @KimKardashian know??? This is between me and @KrisJenner – and most importantly @khloekardashian!!!” he later posted on Twitter.

In response, Kim tweeted a screengrab of a text conversation between herself, Jenner, and Khloe. In it, Kim asked if her mum and sister were in talks with Fleiss.

Both Jenner and Khloe denied they were talking to Fleiss about Khloe becoming the next Bachelorette

Then, Khloe tweeted Fleiss directly, writing: “I’m not f——- clickbait right now. Stop or you will be hearing from my lawyers. How insensitive!!”

Fleiss responded, writing: “This is about helping people find true love- nothing more!!! … I sincerely offered our assistance. If a certain someone thinks he/she doesn’t need our help to find true love, so be it!!!”

He also later tweeted, “You can not be sued for trying to help somebody find true love … Just sayin’.”

Fleiss also alluded that maybe Khloe wasn’t a good fit for the show after all

“One of the things we look for in choosing #TheBachelorette is a great sense of humour… Might be time to look elsewhere,” Fleiss later posted on Twitter.

There’s still no word on who the next Bachelorette will be since the show usually doesn’t start filming until March. But considering the recent Twitter exchanges between the Kim, Khloe, and Fleiss, it seems unlikely that Khloe will be handing joining the “Bachelor” franchise this spring.
