Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other 9/11 defendants will go on trial before a military commission in Guantanomi, rather than in New York City, a source tells CBS.
Attorney General Eric Holder had previously announced plans to try Mohammed and four other defendents in New York City, but abandoned the plan after public outrage.
Mohammed has described himself as the mastermind of the September 11 attacks, the shoe bombing, the 1993 World Trade centre bombing and other attacks.
