John Calipari won his first national championship last night in convincing fashion.
But after having two Final Four appearances (one at UMASS and another at Memphis) vacated for NCAA violations, the Twittersphere was quick to bury Kentucky’s title under a landslide of lame “How long until it’s vacated?” jokes.
The consensus (for some reason): the NCAA will strip Kentucky’s championship in 2014.
It’s worth noting that Calipari has never been individually implicated of any wrongdoing by the NCAA. But that hasn’t stopped people from telling the same joke over and over again:
