DEAR 99%: Here's What You Should Do With All That Junk Mail Offering You Credit Cards

envelopes for the 1% credit card

We found this video on YouTube and had to share it with you. Why?

Because you’ll laugh.

In the video below, this neatly dressed gentleman explains a new way for the 99% to communicate with the 1%. And we have to admit, it’s something basically anyone can understand.

You know all that junk mail you get from banks/credit card companies trying to get you to get one of their cards? You’ve probably noticed that they have business reply mail envelopes inside. So, according to this video, you should use that free postage to send banks a message.

If you don’t have much time you can send the envelope back empty, or if you’re super enthusiastic, you can fill the envelope with a small but heavy object (like a shingle) to make the postage more expensive.

Expense, though, is not the point. The aim of the campaign is not to beggar the banks with postage — that would be silly. The point is to send them messages, and “to get them to react to us,” as the video states.
