“Julia” is the mythical composite girl created by the Barack Obama campaign as an example of how the average U.S. woman would benefit under Obama’s policies. Julia did not go over too well with conservatives yesterday. One conservative group — The Heritage Foundation — decided to make a creative counterattack on Obama’s version of Julia by making their own version of what would happen to Julia under “conservative policies.”
This is similar to the RNC pushback yesterday. Despite Pell Grants and the Opportunity Tax Credit, college costs continue to rise.
The Heritage Foundation turns this argument completely away from the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and starts an argument on youth unemployment.
