World of Warcraft subscriptions have hit their lowest level since 2007, dropping to just over nine million after reaching a high of more than 12 million two years ago, according to the BBC.
“That’s right, the role-players are emerging from mum’s basement at a record pace,” write Brown. “They are laying down their virtual battle axes and rejoining the productive economy and the labour force.”
