Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz thinks that the manner in which inequality has been created in the United States is unfair. He goes on to say that not only is inequality bad for the economy, it also hurts democracy.
“We’ve moved from a system that is ‘one person, one vote’ to one that’s better described as ‘one dollar, one vote,'” Prof. Stiglitz tells Business Insider chief Henry Blodget.
