The Goldman Sachs partner who sent a famous memo to the bank's junior staff is leaving

Joseph Mauro, the head of fixed income, currencies, and commodities European hedge fund sales Goldman Sachs, is leaving the bank.

Mauro famously sent a memo to junior staff earlier in the year. The memo addressed some of the recent departures from Goldman Sachs, and looks to put some of the industry’s current travails in perspective.
