A Baffled Jon Stewart Confirms The Daily Show Was Censored In...Britain

Recently the people of Britain did not get their full dose of Daily Show.

The segment in question was a from an episode last month about the Murdoch phone-hacking scandal and the tumultuous ‘question period’ Prime Minister David Cameron had to face over his possible connection to it.

After showing a clips of MP’s yelling at Cameron, Stewart declared: ‘Britain is awesome!’

Turns out it’s illegal to use parliamentary footage in a satirical or comedic context in Britain and thusly the footage never aired there.

Behold a baffled Jon Stewart: ‘You’re not allowed to praise Britain in Britain?’
