After losing over 50 per cent in his top Advantage Plus fund last year, John Paulson had the clarity of ending January on the upside when it came to his hedge fund Paulson & Co.That streak ended fast. Three out of five of his funds were down for February, here’s a rundown from the latest investor update [via Bloomberg]:

Advantage Plus: -1.5%

Advantage: -0.8%

Recovery: +3%

Enhanced: +6.5%

Gold: -1.7%

On a positive note, Paulson’s strong January means he’s still up for the year. But then again—it is only February.
