What they need: They need a senior Business Development executive capable of defining the strategic goals of the department and driving successful implementation of partnerships and initiatives. The right candidate will be able to rethink and refine the business development strategy to increase existing revenue streams, develop new revenue streams and forge strategic partnerships that will take business development at The Washington Post to the next level.
What you need: You’ll need at least 10 years of business development experience, preferably in digital media, in-depth financial knowledge of partnerships and strategic deals, specifically cost/benefit and break-even analysis, and demonstrated success in shaping business development strategy and implementing winning partnerships.
