Rex Ryan hasn’t named Tim Tebow the starting quarterback yet but according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports (via, the Jets are finally ready to start using Tebow as more than just a blocker.Glazer said Tebow got more reps during practice in the past week and is expected to be a bigger part of the offence tonight for the Jets against the Houston Texans.

Through the first four games, Tebow has thrown one pass, and has only rushed the ball nine times for 38 yards. And one of Tebow’s rushes was on a fake punt. He also famously had one pass thrown his way that bounced off his helmet.

Of course, the real fun will come if Tebow plays well and the Jets win. Unlikely, but we can always hope.
