This is how you get investors to read a boring note on the aerospace industry: throw in some S&M.The note from Jefferies analyst Howard Rubel is slapped with a pretty provocative title, “Repositioning in Shades of grey.”

But fans of Erika Leonard’s erotic novel about a relationship between Anastasia Steele and business magnate Christian Grey that’s heavy on the scenes of BDSM will be disappointed — Rubel is only discusses layoffs and senators John McCain and Carl Levin.
