The Korean Market Is Getting Massacred, Markets Unimpressed By Latest Statements From Europe

After today’s big bludgeoning in the US, Japan is now diving.

Even worse is the situation in Korea, where the Kospi is off 5%.

US futures are basically flat, as are currency markets. Notably the European Finance Ministers gave a press briefing this evening, where they indicated that the issue of Finnish collateral had been solved, and yet markets don’t seem to care.

Indeed that’s the trend.

There was bullish economic in news in the US on Monday, and markets reacted positively for about 15 minutes, before ultimately plummeting.
