Iceland’s troublesome volcano is set to cause more havoc for air passengers as ash cloud threatens to shut down airspace over Ireland.
Irish flights could be grounded with the ash cloud from Iceland drifting across the country, it emerged tonight.
The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) said information from the Volcanic Ash Advice Centre (VAAC) suggests a ‘no-fly zone’ may have to be imposed over Ireland tomorrow that may affect Dublin, Shannon and some regional airports.
