Italian Bond Auction Goes Smoothly

Italy just sold 10 year bond maturing in 2022 at a yield of 5.82 per cent, reports Bloomberg.  The cost was down from 5.96 per cent at the July 30 10-year auction.The bid-to-cover ratio, a measure of demand, was 1.42.  This was up from 1.29 at the July auction.
