Want to know what it’s like to live in the most fashionable city in America?
Irvine is in Orange County. You might remember a group of fashionable teenagers who ran around The O.C. in the early 2000's.
They include national chains such as Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Lucky Brand, and White House Black Market.
And soon Brides by Demetrios, one of the most prestigious bridal gown designers and retailers in the world, will open at the Spectrum.
At The Market Place, the stores are slightly less luxurious, but you can find hip and affordable brands including Target, TJMaxx, and Ann Taylor Loft.
The median family income in Irvine is $107,550. So residents generally have funds to spend on fashion.
If you work up an appetite while shopping, one of the high-end options at The Spectrum is CUCINA enoteca. It's a California-inspired Italian kitchen and wine shop that uses local produce.
The ever-stylish Kardashian clan showed up at a KIIS-FM concert at Irvine's amphitheater a few years back.
Fashionable Charlize Theron has also stopped by. Here she is at the Living Peace Series at UC Irvine in 2010.
