In today’s edition of news that is literally too good to make up, Captain Morgan rum is getting sued for piracy.
(We’ll just let that sink in for a minute).
American Beverage Corp. alleges that the rum drinking, I-do-what-I-want Captain Morgan ripped off its pouched, single-serve frozen cocktail design and has filed a trademark lawsuit against Morgan’s parent company.

Pouch Pack Innovations LLC got in on the suit as well because everyone loves ganging up on a pirate.
