An Iranian actress posted Instagram photos of herself without a hijab and was forced to flee the country

Recently, Iranian actress Sadaf Taherian posted a series of photos of herself without a hijab. Since this goes against Iranian laws, which state that women aren’t allowed to remove their hijabs in public, the Iranian government labelled Taherian an “offender,” and pulled her hit TV show off the air.

She fled for the United Arab Emirates, where she continues to post photos without a hijab online.
