The iPad 2 is soon to be released and the question looms how will the new tablet affect travellers and their mobile ways. The new device comes with front-and-back-facing cameras. travellers will no longer have to use an awkward hand-extending pose to take a picture of themselves, they can also be incognito and take a picture of something without looking like a crazy tourist.
FaceTime has benefits for the business traveller. You’ll be able to chat with anyone else who has an iPad 2 or the iPhone 4. If something urgent comes up while you’re away, you no longer need to stress.
Long flights are still a non-issue for those needing entertainment or wanting to get some work done with the new iPad which maintains the strong 10-hour battery life as well.
The new functionality called Video Mirroring has been introduced in the iPad 2. By using a Apple Digital AV adaptor you can plug your tablet into a TV or a projector and conduct a presentation if needed.
You also no longer need to carry around an iPad stand. The iPad 2 is able to stand without weighing you down during your trek through airport security.
iPad 2 prices remain the same as the original, it will go on sale on March 11.
