Here Are The Apps Planning To Make Use Of AirPlay In iOS 4.3

In Apple’s announcement for iOS 4.3 this week, we were told that apps will now be able to push audio and video content to the Apple TV using AirPlay.This opens up a lot of possibilities, especially for apps like Hulu Plus or Air Video.

Some app developers have already stated their intent to take advantage of AirPlay.

Below are the ones we know about so far, plus a few that are considering AirPlay compatability. The list comes from TUAW, Apple, and Gigaom.

Netflix has decided not to support AirPlay since it is already included with Apple TV.

Here are the apps:

  • Vevo
  • StreamToMe
  • Safari (for web video)

These apps are still deciding:

  • Hulu
  • Comcast
  • HBO
