iOS 5.1 has been in quality assurance for the past three weeks and is being tested by Apple, its carriers, and other partners, reports Chronic Wire.
What’s new? It’ll supposedly add Japanese language support for Siri and an easier way to get to the camera from the lock screen. Chronic Wire also indicates that there will be at least two more major features to look forward to — they just haven’t leaked yet.
An official release should be coming in a matter of days, and with the iPad announcement in store later today, the timing seems right for Apple to be shaking things up.
