LEAKED: Now We Know For Sure That iOS 5 Will Have Voice Control

Thanks to a leaked screenshot from the latest developer beta version of iOS 5, speech-to-text for the iPhone is all but confirmed.9to5 Mac snagged this screenshot and a few others that show a microphone icon on the keyboard. Tap the icon, start talking, and your words appear on the screen.

While this is brand new to iPhone owners, it’s nothing revolutionary. Android phones have had voice-to-text for a long time. We’re guessing Apple wanted to wait until it perfected the feature before releasing it into the wild.
