iOS 5 Apps Are Already Showing Up In The App Store

Apple is already approving apps that are compatible with iOS 5.

Cult of Mac noticed that updates to some apps such as Camera+ and Mashable already mention iOS 5 in their release notes.

Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean these apps will definitely play nice with the final version of iOS 5, which is still in beta for developers.

It won’t be until Apple releases a Gold Master of iOS 5 to developers that we’ll know these apps are truly compatible.

(Gold Master versions are essentially the same as the final release version that the public gets.)

Still, this shows developers are already gearing up for iOS 5. We’re expecting to know a final release date next month.
