10 Big Investors In MF Global

There are a bunch of investment firms that stand to lose after Jon Corzine’s MF Global filed for bankruptcy protection yesterday.

A handful of them held fairly large stakes in the beleaguered brokerage firm, according to their latest 13F filings.

The thing to remember is they’re only required to report their long holdings, which means this is not necessarily their only investment related to the company.  They could have hedges.

What’s more is they could have sold off their stake in MF Global since June 30th.
