Does birth order really affect how we handle our finances?
While several studies have attempted to prove the ability to handle money lies in birth order, Coupon Cabin’s latest survey and infographic shows there may not be too drastic a difference.
Turns out both youngest, oldest, and middle siblings treat their household finances about the same (about 85% describe themselves as financially responsible), while about one-third from each group say they take financial risks.
However, the middle born save a bit more (65% compared to 57% first borns and 60% last borns) as well as more likely to help people who need money.
