Google Street View lets you explore places you ordinarily wouldn’t be able to visit.

The anonymous person behind the “Street View Photographs” blog finds the best images from around the world on Google Street View. He uses a photo-editing tool called Polarr to turn ordinary pictures of landmarks into beautiful photographs.

“I wanted to travel and I love taking pictures so I decided to just to do virtual tours,” he said on his blog. “I also love to retouch photos to make them more legit, and Polarr is currently sponsoring their tool for me.”

The anonymous blogger behind 'Street View Photographs' says his project helps him see places he otherwise couldn't afford to visit.

This photograph, from Greece's Mykonos island, is gorgeous.

Sometimes it's hard to believe these pictures are from actual Google Street View photos.

That's because they have all been processed using Polarr, a photo-editing tool.

Polarr is a web-based photo editor. It's sort of like Instagram or VSCOcam for your desktop.

Polarr lets you apply filters to pictures.

You can also play around with solar flare and exposure settings.

You can make pictures black and white, too.

These pictures are stunning.

This photograph was taken underwater in the Bahamas, using one of Google's special cameras used for underwater photography.
