IBM's Computer Sensation 'Watson' Just Scored A Wall Street Gig

IBM’s supercomputer “Watson,” who made an appearance as a contestant on Jeopardy last year beating the quiz show’s two most successful champions, just got a job on Wall Street

From Bloomberg:

Citigroup Inc. (C), the third-largest U.S. lender, is Watson’s first financial services client, IBM said yesterday. It will help analyse customer needs and process financial, economic and client data to advance and personalise digital banking.

IBM expects Watson will be able to read and comprehend 200 million pages in just three seconds so he can help banks understand risks and rewards that might otherwise have been overlooked, the report said.
