HSN isn’t just a shopping channel on TV anymore.
It’s getting into all sorts of new things, like mobile, tablets and online.
But it has also gotten into gaming with HSN Arcade.
HSN CEO Mindy Grossman spoke with Bloomberg’s Nicole Lapin to talk about the company’s ever-evolving digital strategy.
Grossman explained the point of HSN Arcade:
“What we feel retail is about today comes down to one word, and it’s ‘experience.’
And the way we look at that is, what is the reason for a customer to want to engage with us every day, not just because we want to sell them something.
I think this idea of engagement whether it’s through your social platforms or through your day-to-day interactions is very important.
So we have the insights around our customers, so we know that she loves to shop, she loves to share, and she loves to play casual games.”
