HP’s 4G TouchPad, which runs on AT&T’s network, has surfaced for pre order on Amazon for $700. Netbook News was the first to get the tip.The 4G version of the TouchPad is essentially the same device as the current Wi-Fi version, but it does have a slightly faster processor. (1.5 GHz versus 1.2 GHz.)

We’re not sure if AT&T has plans to subsidise the 4G TouchPad if you sign a data plan contract. But at least we know how much it’ll cost to buy contract-free.

There’s still no official release date or pricing announcement from HP or AT&T. We’ll keep you posted if we get one.
