Emojis are here to stay whether you like it or not (and if you don’t like it I would honestly like to know why).

But for users not on mobile it can be hard incorporate them into your everyday typing life.

This is especially true for me. Whenever I wanted to type an emoji on my computer I would have to Google it and then copy and paste. Mind you, I am a grandpa when it comes to many things.

But it turns out there’s been a hidden keyboard hiding in plain sight that makes it possible to easy type emojis whenever they pop into your head. And it’s really easy to find this keyboard.

Here’s how to access it.

All you have to do is press Control, Command, and the space bar simultaneously and then a handy keyboard with all emojis will pop up (it might take a second or two). It is categorized the same as the mobile emojis, and makes it much easier to add some panache to your text.

This will obviously make tweeting and instant messaging with emojis a breeze. But it will also help herald the upcoming Age Of Emoji. Already they are becoming more widespread, and some website are using them in URLs.
