With predictive text, your iPhone can make guesses about the words you are typing and suggest how to complete sentences.
In addition, it can suggest the next word you might want to type as well, based on your past typing and websites you’ve visited in Safari. Using predictive text, it’s possible to write short messages with minimal typing – or even no typing at all.
When predictive text is on, you’ll see three suggested words above the keyboard. As you type, if you see the word you intended, just tap to enter it into your message or document.
Predictive text is on by default, but easy to disable if you find it annoying or distracting. And you can turn it back on with just a couple of taps.
Here’s how to do it.
