How to keep an eye on the cricket score without the boss noticing

Cricket Australia has continued to provide a nifty way to keep up with the scores in the office without your colleagues noticing.

Last summer, the authority released “boss mode” on its live scorecard — a way to make the scorecard look like a professional spreadsheet on your computer monitor. With the new international season starting today with South Africa visiting Perth for the First Test, the very useful feature is back.

Here’s how you can activate Boss Mode.

1. Visit live.cricket.com.au and click the right-pointing arrow (“Go to match”) for the match you’d like to track.

2. Once in the live scorecard, you will see an icon that looks like a business shirt and tie on the top right of the page. Click on this for Boss Mode.

3. Magic! A live scorecard now shows up on a page that looks just like a respectable spreadsheet.
