Let’s say, hypothetically, that the White House hit the real estate market. According to the property value whizzes at Movoto, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue would probably sell for around $110 million.
What does a buyer get for that price? 55,000 square feet of living space, as well as a movie theatre, basketball court, and 35 bathrooms. And while the estimate does take into account local property values it does not even begin to consider the value of history.
Interestingly, when Zillow did the same valuation, it put the estimated sale price of the White House at $220 million, or $1.7 million per month to rent.
