We visited LUSH’s factory in Poole, the company’s biggest in the world, and got to see the making of “Brazened Honey” face mask.

The mask is made in the Fresh department, which is responsible for collecting orders from the shops, making the products on the day, and delivering them the following day.

The facemask is filled with fresh ingredients. Among these are fennel, ginger root, and egg whites. They are mixed with almond oil, glycerine, and Brazilian honey.

Other ingredients include fresh lime juice, turmeric, cardamom, and ground almond shells, which add a natural exfoliation to the face.

All LUSH products also contain the brand’s signature fragrance.

LUSH’s factory in Poole has around 800 members of staff. They made over 50 million items here in 2017, around 100,000 a day in busy times.
