A giant 'hole' on the sun just fired a burst of wind past Earth travelling over 1.5 million mph

On March 27, NOAA detected a coronal hole that wrapped nearly all the way around the sun. It lead to the ejection of solar particles travelling over 1.5 million mph that can create electromagnetic storms.
