Courtesy of CoreLogic, here’s the final auction clearance rates across Australia’s capital cities last week.
As is usually the case, the final figure was revised down from the preliminary estimate of 74.8%.
Melbourne, at 73.8%, recorded the strongest clearance rate across the country, although that was down from 74.9% level recorded in the previous week.
Sydney’s clearance rate ticked above 70%, the first time that’s been seen in six weeks.
Of the other capitals, clearance rates improved week-on-week in Brisbane, Canberra, Perth and Tasmania, although they eased in Adelaide.
Looking ahead, CoreLogic says there are currently 1,787 properties scheduled to go under the hammer this week.
862 will be held in Melbourne and 647 across Sydney.
Werribee in Victoria is the busiest suburb for auctions across the nation with 18 properties up for sale.
