Here's How To Enable The Secret Panoramic Camera Mode Inside iOS 5

Some clever hackers have found a way to turn on a panoramic camera feature Apple hid inside iOS 5, 9to5 Mac reports.

We heard back in June that Apple was planning to include a panoramic camera inside iOS 5, but the feature obviously didn’t make it into the current version.

The code for the feature is dormant, but apparently can be activated with a little tweaking and a jailbroken iPhone. The panoramic camera isn’t perfect, but it works!

With your jailbroken iPhone, download the “Firebreak” tweak from Cydia. Next time you open your camera, tap the screen to see more settings, and the Panorama button should appear.

If you aren’t jailbroken, or have no idea what jailbreaking is, download Photosynth from the App Store. It’s a very good panorama app, and it’s free.
