Harvard Business School just put on its annual fashion show, meant to introduce “smart casual” looks that are also work friendly.
In the words of Dealbook’s Kevin Roose, who was there, the aim was for the items on the runway to be “equally appropriate for the dance floor and the trading floor.”
But having taken a look at a video from the night, and spotted this little number (see the image at right), it’s clear that Harvard students can try to put on a show that’s going to look good on their resumes as much they like, but at the end of the day, this show is just an excuse to parade HBS’ hot (and smart) assets in front of their fellow students.
(And that dress probably isn’t appropriate for the trading floor.)
Watch how all of the men (who are dressed in suits or dress suits) in the front row get noticeably stirred up when the lady in blue and red walks by.
