Here are today’s winners and losers.Winners:

First Solar (FSLR): Up 11.8 per cent  First Solar announced that it has seen increased demand, and that it will ramp up production at its soon-to-be-closed German plants to meet the high demand.

SanDisk (SDNK): Up 3.2 per cent  SanDisk devices will now be used in Lenovo and Fujitsu products, which has helped boost the stock up a few per cent today.

Boeing (BA): Up 2.8 per cent  Boeing is up 2.8 per cent after the stock was upgraded to outperform by Bernstein analysts.


Harman International Industries (HAR) Down 6.8 per cent — Apple is invading Harman’s business, as Apple seeks to strike deals with automakers to impliment Siri voice technology. Harman designs dashboard entertainment systems and GPS navigation.

Invesco Ltd. (IVZ) Down 4.9 per cent — Invesco reported May assets under management declined 5.4 per cent, which has caused the stock to tumble this morning.
