German Newspaper Handelsblatt Has A Brilliant Rebuttal To The Latest Classic Economist Cover

German newspaper Handelsblatt has done its own version of the recent Economist cover demanding that Merkel save the world economy.

It’s obvious the Germans are getting increasingly annoyed at the constant prods from the media about how they’re letting the world economy go down the tank just because they don’t want to create a permanent mechanism of transfering money to the periphery.

For more evidence of German frustration, see this Der Spiegel report complaining about how everyone around Europe is winning the game of chicken.

Here are the two covers, as posted on Handelsblatt.
